There was a day of our laboratory sessions where we were toured around the Research Wing of NIP. In my opinion, this is actually a good thing, because, for one, we, physics and applied physics students (in my opinion) are given the motivation to really study physics to be able to, one day, enter and go around the research wing more often. Another, with this tour, we become aware of what NIP is really capable of doing. We know what we can do, and even more, achieve, once we already enter the doors of the Research Wing of NIP.
However, with those in mind, one thing still bothers me - this has been the \(x\)th time I've had a tour in the same Research Wing. And for this same \(x\) times, I have kept wondering what I would really want to do when I finally have or will choose a lab to go into.
There are six laboratories in the Research Wing of NIP - all of which I have been in for the past \(x\) times. The very first time I had a tour in this wing was during the third year summer science internship program of our school (PSHS-SMC). During this internship program, I stayed in one of the labs in NIP and did some of the things researchers would do. This same internship program gave me an opportunity to present a paper in one of the physics conventions held in the Philippines (SPVM)! So I am really thankful for that opportunity NIP and the internship program our our high school gave me.
Anyway, going back to the context of this tour. I have already been in these same labs at least once and I have seen some of the things NIP has to offer. But despite the repetitiveness, I still am amazed, and filled with awe with the many things you can do with physics. I had a very long and deep history with science in my life, and by the end of elementary I already knew I will go to physics. Now that I am in college, studying physics, I know that this was really the right choice and I will do everything to be the best.

Your love for physics is inspiring. Keep it up, Chris! I know you'll do great! :-) Good luck in choosing your lab!
